Care Instructions:
Once the coals have cooled, use a plastic dustpan and brush to clean the fire pit, avoiding scratches. Rinse the fire pit with plain water for cleaning. Do not use harsh household cleaners or chemicals on the coating, as they are unsuitable.
The fire pit is coated with a black/silver fire paint. The paint will not last indefinitely. This depends on how many fires you make.
Over time, the fire pit may develop localized rust in areas where the coating is scratched or worn, this will not affect functionality. If desired, rust spots can be removed with lemon juice, followed by sealing with natural vegetable oil.
Coat with vegetable oil or similar at least every 6 months to ensure maximum longevity.
Our fire pits are handcrafted, so minor manufacturing imperfections may be present, though they will not impact performance in any way.
*Please Note: The area below the fire pit will get extremely hot. Suggested safe surfaces to place your fire pit on include: gravel, concrete, stone or similar.
